Zielke Subject: OCE Meeting Minutes for 1/27/00 and Handwarmer Sign-Up For those of you who missed tonight's meeting...here is what happened. 1. Handwarmer Pricing We set our price of the handwarmers for $2.00 a pair. They supposedly sell in the stores for about $1.75 a pair. We bought them for $x.xx a pair, so we are talking big profit here. =) 2. Science Fair Update We talked a little more about the science fair, mostly dealing with the judging. The letter for the judges is ready to go and approved by the School District. Tomorrow, the judges commitee is meeting to put together a database of all eligible faculty. The letters will be sent out before Winter Carnival and the deadline for interested judges to respond is February 11...the following Friday. 3. CM205 Help Sessions The CM205 help sessions are going extremely well. The participation in recent weeks has been outstanding...so outstanding that the question has arose if we should add a third person to each session to help out. We can talk about that in the upcoming meeting. 4. Handwarmer Sign-Up The immediate area of concern right now is the sale of the handwarmers. We will be selling them from 8 pm to 2 am on Wednesday (All-Nighter) and then from 10 am to 3 pm on Thursday. We would like 2 people to work together for 1 hour shifts. A sign-up sheet was passed around tonight, but we still have openings that need to be filled. Here are the times: 1 person for 11 pm - 12 am Wednesday night 2 people for 12 am - 1 am Wednesday night 2 people for 1 am - 2 am Wednesday night 2 people for 10 am - 11 am Thursday morning If you are available to help sell during one of these time slots, that would be great.
